Message if the stock rods with poly bushings acted as 'solid' and would cause stress cracks, so would adjustable rods with solid bushings. They have virtually no flex and I would say much less movement than stock rods with poly bushings.

Either way, I have had solid rods for 2 years and have no problems with them. And I have seen MANY cars with the poly bushings in stock rods that are absolutely fine.

If there are cracks in the control arm, they are from an accident or hard contact with a curb or something. Not from stiffer bushings.
